At Green Flowers, we take many aspects into consideration when creating designs for our customers. Not just the quality of the end product, but also the source of the materials used.
Where possible we use Biodegradable, Ethically Produced, Recycled or Recyclable products in all our designs. The world is still in infant stages of producing materials that will replace the environmentally unaware products of the past, but we can help the research by creating the demand.

All hand tied bouquets are presented in natural recycled paper and biodegradable cellophane, tied with natural raffia - not a poly ribbon in sight!
Our customers have now decided that Foam based Funeral tributes are inappropriate in this day and age, they do not break down effectively. Better to use thin recycled chicken wire frames and straw. These will break down into their environment nicely! So we do.

Our presentation designs are created in biodegradable trays and posy pots instead of plastic.
As for the flowers themselves, we are continuously researching the most ethical way to buy them. We choose local growers (Organic Farms), we buy direct from Holland (bulk orders to reduce the carbon footprint attached to our business) or from ethically grown suppliers only. We are doing all we can to only use local growers but need to maintain the quality and life span of our essential ingredient........................bear with us.
In fact, Green Flowers create any type of design that other florists can show you, we just do it wearing our Environmentally Aware hats.
The upside of this is that we can all give our loved ones beautiful gifts with a clear conscience. The downside of this is...........................well there is no downside.
JUST STUNNING, CREATIVE & BESPOKE DESIGNS WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT IN MIND.

Oh and just in case you were wondering, where possible, deliveries are made by bicycle!
